How to Join Boy Scout Troop 206


About Troop206 


Troop 206 is a vibrant, outdoors oriented, boy-led troop that helps boys advance from Tenderfoot to Eagle. Serving Atherton, Menlo Park, Redwood City, Woodside, and Portola Valley for over 60 years, our 40+ scouts meet at Trinity Church

in Menlo Park three Mondays a month. 


How to Join


1: Introduction

If you are considering the troop, both scout and parent(s) should attend a meeting to meet the troop leadership and members:

Scout meetings: Mondays, 7:30-9 pm, weekly, EXCEPT the last Monday of the month, at Trinity Church, 330 Ravenswood Ave, Menlo Park
Parent meetings (simultaneously, but separate from scouts), first Monday of each month, 7:30-8:30 pm, in the meeting room adjacent to scout meeting.


2: Registration

Complete BSA Membership Form


3: Medical Form

Medical Form A & B and a copy of both sides of scout’s medical insurance card. 
Avoid these common errors when completing the form
Make a copy for your records. 
Form C is needed for summer camp, but not troop outings.


4: Troop Forms

Complete the online Contact Information Form  and Photo release 


5: Send Forms

Electronic copies of all forms (reg, med, photo) can be sent to paperwork@bsa.org OR mailed to address below.


6: Send Fees

$65 payable to Boy Scout Troop 206 and mailed to
